008 Atlantico Low Chest

This elegantly simple 6-drawer chest hovers above the floor on slender legs. Its low, rectangular body helps create a peaceful ambiance in the bedroom.

Available in American Black Walnut, American Ash, or American White Oak finished with a Danish oil or a white oil.

The cabinet top, base, sides and internal dividing panels are manufactured from solid planks of oak, ash or walnut, connected together using wooden dowels and adhesive. Screws disguised with long grain dowels strengthen the main panel connections

The rear panel is manufactured from plywood with a matching veneer on both sides. The panel is slotted into the rebated frame for a seamless connection.

The cabinet leg structure is also made from solid oak, ash or walnut, joined using mortise and tenon joints.

The drawer fronts and handles are solid oak, ash or walnut attached to American Basswood drawer sides using dovetail joinery. The base panel of the drawers is made from plywood with a matching veneer, and this panel slots into rebates in drawer sides for a seamless connection. The drawers have an internal depth of 133mm Hidden metal runners on the underside of the drawers have a sprung “pull back” action.

The cabinet is delivered fully assembled and glued, except for the base. The base is delivered as a separate piece that needs to be installed using the fittings provided. This is approximately 10 minutes work. Please refer to assembly instructions provided at time of delivery.
